Concussion management strategies for high school athletes and the ImPACT test
Concussion injuries are the hot topic in the NFL and on high school and college campuses across the country, with raised concern about the brain health of players of contact sports.
On Thursday, April 8 from 6:30 - 8 p.m., the ONS Foundation will present a program on concussion to Greenwich High School students, coaches and their parents to raise awareness about the signs, symptoms and treatment of concussion.
The program will cover the latest information on concussion management guidelines and ImPACT testing. The sports concussion program will take place in the High School Media Center rooms #1 and 2. Refreshments will be served. For more information, call 203-869-3131, or visit www.ons-foundation.org.
