The Foundation is committed to advancing orthopaedic medicine through projects that seek to improve patient care, including furthering the development of minimally invasive techniques and new treatment modalities that assist people of all ages in living active, healthy lives. Areas of study include treatment methods for injuries and conditions affecting the shoulder, elbow and knee, and spinal disorders. Projects are based on ONS Foundation criteria and physician committee goals. Through this research, the ONS Foundation strives to improve standards of excellence for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders
