Michael Sokolove is a contributing writer for the New York Times Magazine, as well as the author of “Warrior Girls: Protecting Our Daughters Against the Injury Epidemic in Women’s Sports”, “The Ticket Out: Darryl Strawberry and The Boys of Crenshaw”, and “Hustle: The Myth, Life, and Lies of Pete Rose”. His specialty has been the sociology and culture of sports, and he has written provocatively about current day sports.

Intended Audience: This seminar is designed to further enhance the education of Physicians, Nurses, Physician Assistants, Physical & Occupational Therapists, Athletic Trainers & Coaches
 
Course Objectives:
  • Review common musculoskeletal problems of the lower extremities and appropriate operative and non-operative management.
  • Review common musculoskeletal problems of the lower back and appropriate operative and non-operative management.
  • Review common musculoskeletal problems of the upper extremities and appropriate operative and non-operative management.
Certification & Accreditation: Greenwich Hospital Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
 
Physicians: The Greenwich Hospital Association designates this educational activity for a maximum 3.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
 
Allied Health Professionals: A certificate of attendance will be sent out after the conference. This letter of certification can be submitted to your respective professional organization for determination of credits.
